Maha Laxmi Poojan Vidhi

Things to remember : -

The worshiper after having a fresh bath & should wear the fresh washed dress.
Should facing towards east or north sit on a pure wool seat.
Should place worship - articles nearing him.

Commences the worship (Step by Step)

"Aachman"

Put little amount of fresh water on your right palm incant the mantra and sip the water in mouth. This is called " aachman " which accelerates your intensity of worship and puts you to calm and quit state of mind.

1) Oum ! "Salutes to The One of beautiful Hair!" - I bow thee.
2) Oum ! "Salutes to The One who is always Sweet!" - I bow thee.
3) Oum ! "Salutes to The One who is Single Pointed - tight!" - I bow thee

"Tilkam"

Put a round symbol on your fore head.

Oum! Thou art rule of the pure, thee perceives all that change, grant the ultimate prosperity to us. Thou art search for truth, thee knower of the universe, grant the ultimate prosperity to us. Thou art the divine being of light, thee keep us safe, grant the ultimate prosperity to us. Thou art the spirit of all pervading delight, grant that to us.

"Kalash sthaapna & poojan"

( Draw a triangle to your left side on the earth. Place rice and flowers on it. Place an empty water pot on triangle. Fill the pot with pure water chanting the following mantra. )

"Oum ! The Ganga, Jamuna, Godawari, Saraswati, Narmada, Sindhu and Kaveri. The holy waters of the rivers are mingled here."

(After filling the water- offer flowers & rice to the water by chanting the following mantra):

Oum ! Vam ! Immortal nectar named Varun, I bow to you.
Oum ! The gross, The Subtle, The Causal bodied Immortal Nectar listen to our calls, kindly come and occupy the seat.

I worship you with scanted flowers and unbroken rice may you please be established here.

(Again pray as under) :

Oum! Aam! I with these scented flowers we bow to the twelve aspects of the sun, containing heat, managing heat, rays, producing colures granting enjoyment productive of consciousness.
Oum! Uam! with these scented flowers we bow to the sixteen aspects of the realm of the moon nectar, which sustains the life. Which supports, satisfying, nourishing, playful, constancy, unfailing, producer of joy. Grantor of prosperity, affectionate, purifying the body, complete fully of bliss.
Oum! Mam! With these scented flowers we bow to ten aspects of the real, of fire, smoky red shinning flaming sparking burning subtle well formed tawny. The massage the gods and ancestors.

(There after Wave hands while chanting the following mantra):

"Oum! The Ganga, Jamuna, Godavari, Saraswati, Narmada, Sindhu, Kaveri. The holy waters of the holy rivers are mingled together"

Now draw some water form the water pot called "Kalash " sprinkle over your own body over all the articles to be offered and near by area, while chanting the following mantra:-

"Oum! The lotus -eyed consciousness is conveyed to radiant beauty. Oum! Make this immortal nectar! I am one with Lotus-Eyed Consciousness. "

Deepawali – Worship

i"

"Aasan Pooja" (worshipping the seat)

(Draw a triangle bearing a point in center of it with sandal paste or with some drops of pure water in front of your seat. Take flowers and rice in your hand chant the following mantra):

"Oum! Thou art Earth you support the realm of the Goddess thee supported by the Supreme Consciousness as such make pure this seat, and also bear me eternally"

(offer the flowers and rice on the seat )

"Deepak Sthaapana" (Lighting the Lamp & establishing)

( Sprinkle rice on the earth near to "Kalash" and put a lamp-pot full of ghee emersed with cotton lid & lit the lamp. Take flowers and rice in the hands and pray):

"Oum! The Divine Fire, Light of Purity as a witnesar to my worship glow and shine until the worshipping is over"

(Offer flowers and rise under the lamp)

"Sankalp" (Resolve)

Take flowers and rice in hand also pour little amount of water, chant as under:-

Oum! The Supreme Consciousness of the Infinite Goodness, which pervades all That, is the Truth. Presently in the second half of omniscient era, on the planet earth in the country of (a) .........*(b) ......... Region of city of .........*(c) near the bank of /or on the eastern/western/southern/northern part of .............*(d) river in the auspicious Kartik month's dark fortnight of the moon the 15 day on the auspicious day arising Chitra constellation, moon posited in Libra-sign sun posited in Libra sign Jupiter posited in Cancer sign rest planets posited in their respective signs of zodiac ........*(e) of family bearing *(f) ...........name I undertake worship of Mahalaxmi the Goddess for the pleasure and satisfaction of Goddess Mahalaxmi. I recite this worship for the completion and unobstructed continuity I shall also worship lord Ganesh (release the flower and the rice in a plate)

Oh! Lord of the multitudes we invoke you with offerings.
Oh! Glorious king the lord of the knower of wisdom,
Hear our supplications may graciously take your Seat!
Oum! Mother of the perceivable and conceivable universe, Mother of the universe of intuitive vision, lead me to that true existence, May I be taken to reside with the Infinite Consciousness.
Oum! Let the Earth be at peace as such The atmosphere, The Heavens, The Universes be filled with the peace. Let Peace be to creative Consciousness, Let peace be to all, Let peace be to everything, Equally peace begets peace, ignorance is eliminated, violence is eradicated, evil conduct is Conquered all that is, is at peace.
Peace! Peace!! Altogether peace!!
